Sage Oil (Clary Sage)

Herbal, nutty scent is a bit heavy. Sclerea, from the Greek “skleria,” refers to its White/blue flower petals that end in a hard point. A reddish-colored stem, reaching about two feet, supports large wrinkled heart-shaped leaves. The plant is native to Europe, but is also found in the Americas.
These days it is often used as a component of perfumes. Nervous tension, racing mind and panic states can be relieved with this warming and relaxing oil. The resulting euphoric effect increases feelings of well-being and the capacity to see life in perspective.
